Little Green Cheeks are something all in their own little package. If they are cinnamon, yellow sided, or turquoise sided, they are all pretty much the same except for color. My little Gidget is a little poop. I love her dearly, she is her own clown. She plays alot with ALL of her toys and she talks in her own little sweet voice. Little conures have a gravelly little voice, but if you listen closely you can certainly figure out what they are saying. Most of the time my Little Gidget is telling my Mr. Kiwi, NO, pretty much all of the time.

I personally love the Hoffmann's Conure! Very beautiful, I've never heard of them before, looks like they are quite rare... they actually remind of me a smaller/green version of the Queen of Bavaria!

Yes, I have seen that color at several bird fairs. They are pretty.

MBS = Multiple Bird Syndrome usually strikes when you see a new or needy fid ... and usually VERY contagious ... usually only cure is to get the wanted fid ... but WILL strike again in the future ... there is no immunity, once you get it, it can - and DOES - recur - OFTEN

I got it bad too! I so want a medium to large parrot, either a Senegal or GCC. I also make the mistake of looking a craigslist every day and found a blue parrotlet that needs rehoming. I told him I would only pay 100.00 but he would get a great forever home.
I am going to the bird fair next weekend so something is coming home with me. My husband is going to kill me!

Have you gotten some of your birds there? I've been there twice, but not bought a bird there. If you love that place, check out Treetop Bird Center in Richardson. It's a bigger place with lots more birds to fall in love with. They have the most gorgeos Hawkhead parrots I've ever seen...(well, the only ones I've ever seen..lol) Hefty price tag tho, so no worries about bringing one of those home, but I love to visit them! (2500.00 ) Here's a little more news for the MBS in ya....there is a bird fair in Grapevine this weekend as well. I'm not going because I just really cannot afford another bird right now due to the 600.00 vet bill we chalked up last week, but thought you might be interested. Where are you in DFW?
