since Emma's the only fid now sad.gif i was going to turn her room into an indoor aviary. could anyone give me information on how to do this? are there websites that i could go to that would give me information on how to do this? any help would be appreciated the reasoning for an indoor aviary is because i live in an upstairs apartment and i just want Emma to have a room where she can be safe and have fun and be spoiled (as if she isn't already) lol but I would love to get trees and playstands and nets and whatever else you use for an aviary.

Will you be putting a chair of some sort in there for you to sit on, so it would be like a reading room??

Or is this going to be her very own room?

I thought about making a bird room for my fids, but decided against it because I was afraid I would spend less time with them, and they wouldn't be in the general hubbub with the family, and tv going etc.

Either or.. go nuts would be my motto laugh.gif

I'd have gyms hanging from the ceiling, playstands all over, a tree in the center of the room .. Hmmm so it would basically look like my former livingroom bwahahahaahahaahahaaha

I'm not sure how 'bird safe' you are planning to make the room... i.e. a room for you to spend some time with her (with her playstands, her cage etc.) under supervision or a full bird room where you can leave her out all the time? unsure.gif This thread will probably be helpful as it has some great tips on bird-proofing a bird room. smile.gif

Good luck... I'm looking forward to pictures!! biggrin.gif
