You wouldn't think birds could make expressions on their faces since they don't really seem equipped for it, but last night Clyde had some food on his beak and he was sitting on my leg. Usually he cleans off his beak on his rope perch and it apparently didn't occur to him at first that he could use my jeans, so he was trying to stick his tongue out far enough to lick off the food. It was the funniest thing I'd seen all day.

Of course, his tongue wouldn't reach and he was getting frustrated and me laughing at him didn't help matters any. Finally he thought of wiping his face off on my jeans, but it made him grumpy that I laughed at him and honest to goodness, he FROWNED at me.
