At the pet store today, DH bought Truman a "funhouse mirror." It's a mirror with three sections, each of which reflects in a different way (short bird, fat bird, etc.). Tru is in love with it! I'm only going to let him have it for a few days because otherwise he gets too bonded to mirrors, but it's so funny watching him talk to, peck, bite and groom the "other birds."

It seems to be a real birdy favorite. We saw a man in the store with a really cute pinkish-white bird on his shoulder (looked like a small cockatoo but I'm not sure of the actual breed). Then, when we were checking out, he was behind us and he had a funhouse mirror for his bird too. He was holding it up to the bird and it was "dancing" and making a big fuss. I'm sure it's enjoying it as much as Tru is enjoying his. Last night it was so cute...he climbed out of his cage and kept looking at the back of the mirror like, "I KNOW there are other birds behind this or inside of it. Why can't I find them?!"
