I bought Chili A flight Suit and the lanyard. I Put it on him a couple of times for a little while. He was fine when I put it on him, no fighting it, no freaking out, just chewed on the velcro on the back. Now, when I go to his cage to get him out, he goes to the back of the cage, and makes me chase him around his ropes. He will step up, and come out, but he doesn't want to kiss. He is sort of ignoring me. Oh, but I'm his best friend still when I have treats for him. The reason I got the flight suit, is that it works good for me to keep him out much longer, and I don't have to worry about him flying off of me, and having Beaner (the min pin) go after him. I also go for walks, and I thought I could use it to have him go with me. You know, quality time alone with him.
I'm sure others have po'd their little chickens. Will he get over this? I don't think I will try the FS again till we are friends again.

He will get over it don't worry ... however the flight suit maybe a problem. I brought one 2 years ago for Tiki and I have yet to get him in it, I left it lying around for him to see for 2 weeks, he dosn't mind it, but oh it's another story when I try to put him in it, that's for sure, best of luck to you, hopefully you shall do better.

He might be mad, but he'll get over it, don't worry. Clyde had a broken tail feather last summer and it just would NOT fall off, so finally Hubby took it off and Clyde was mad at him for a long while over that, but he eventually forgave him.

It was so simple to put on. I found this on YouTube, and used her technique. I got it on him right away. you should try this Siobahn. She is great with her birds. I wish she had more videos.
