For the next three weeks on mondays I will be getting my Halogen Injections in my knee joints. If you know anything about them, they are quite painful to get but barable or I wouldn't put myself through it. What they do is slightly freeze the skin, then take a needle that is very long and go into the center of the knee right where the joint oils are stored. They remove anything in there liquid wise and replace it with ***** Comb or Halogen. (they are the same thing) Today I got the first of my three to five I will have to get. I am to stay off my feet as much as possible for one day. I didn't even need my music to help with the pain because I knew exactly what to expect. I know three people who couldn't get the injections and got out of the seat and walked away just after the needle went through the skin.


Secondly my surgery (Weight loss-stapling) is to be done on the 3rd of Dec. I will be in the hospital 3-5 days. The faster I show them I can take care of myself and that I will do what is expected of me the sooner I get out so I plan to do like I did today for the halogen injection-ignore the pain. good luck on your surgery cheryl! and about the knee thing: i watched someone get fluid drained off his knee once. i almost fainted when they bought out the needle. i'm thankful i have not had to have that done before. you are a stronger woman than i am.
