My friend who takes Truman while we are on vacation is going to bring her menagerie in January. Besides Truman, we'll have two 'tiels, an eclectus and a sun conure (they are taking their other eclectus with them). Tru and the conure love to groom each others but Tru hates the 'tiels so I'll have to keep an eye on everyone. The eclectus loves to sit with people, and they all wear diapers so he can spend probably spend the day on the couch with me while I work (I'm sure Tru will be jealous). Then, when their owners return, I'm leaving for a cruise two days later so my friend is just going to take Truman back to their place with the others. It's going to be interesting having an aviary here!
We'll have their little dog too...he's a really sweetie but the cats are so offended when he's here. He's a tiny Pom so they are larger than him. They make sure they are always above him somehow...they'll sit on the coffee table when he is lying below it, wait for him to stop paying attention, then reach down and bat him. Wicked kitties!

LOL
It great that you and your friend have a pet sitting option for the holidays.
Have fun.
Looking forward to the stories and pics of the days at your "zoo".

Diapers for birds? Are you serious. I've never seen them. Is it something you can buy?

You can buy the diapers at this link:
http://www.birddiaper.com/Truman tolerates one, although he chews on the back part some. My friend's birds are all great with their diapers except the sun conure...he will wear it but he's not thrilled.
