My dad had to put down our dog today, Czear. Him and his sister Margie have been part of our family since they were puppies in 1995.

He found blood in his urine today, and he wouldn't eat anymore, so my dad took him in today.

I've been crying all morning. Czear was my buddy. When I lived at home he slept with me EVERY night and wanted to do nothing but play ball all day and all night, until he couldn't really see anymore, and even then he would try.

I'll miss him SO much. I hope Margie is ok without him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Keep the good memories close to ya. It helps. We never know how long we are going to have our love ones. We we can always remember that they were there with us for a short time, and be glad for that.

Yes, it is never easy to lose a beloved pet. I always think of it as the crappy part of the contract - that they don't live as long as we do. He had a wonderful life with you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know how you are feeling. @ weeks ago I woke up to find one of my 19 year old cats dead. It was not a pretty site. She lived a great life. Hugs for you!!!!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. It still hurts SO much. I miss him like crazy. I just keep thinking about how he felt when he was on his way to the vet or what he was thinking. I feel So freaking bad.
