We rescued a little green Quaker from our dogwood tree yesterday and although we tried our best, the little one has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.Believing that none of God's creatures should pass over without a name, and not knowing this little one's name,we called him/her,"Blossom".I'm sad, even though I only knew this little one briefly because I think about my beloved fids and how someone must be missing this little one now.I can only hope that we're sucessful in finding it's owner so they'll at least know what happened to their fid.Rest in peace, little Blossom and know that somewhere, someone is loving and missing you and I'll find them for you.

You gave Blossom the last bit of love of its life and that is the best thing you could have ever done. I hope if someone has seen Kiwi that they were as good of person to him as you were to Blossom.

Poor little guy and I know you must be feeling so sad too (HUGS) from across the miles...I am sure he knew you cared and gave him love in his last hours....

I'm so sorry Dee

At least she had some love and the best care possible for the last little while of her life...

I am so sad that Blossom passed away.
I guess I always want to think there will be a happy ending.
That is not always the way it goes.
I was so hoping that it was Justin's Kiwi. When he lost his bird it broke my heart,
and also everyone else that has lost their birds.
God bless you for all you did for Blossom.

What a wonderful, thoughtful and caring post, Dee!!
Because of you, the little guy didn't have to die lonely, afraid and cold.
