Sorry I havent been on for awhile but I have been upset and have been running harley back and forth to the vet and on )ctober 16th harley passed away. I had left to go get my son something for his birthday and come home and found harley in the bottom of his cage. He was fine when I left and was talking to me and telling me hello and saying step up so i loved on him and gave him a treat and watched him to make sure he ate the treat and was ok and come home and he was gone. Not even 3 weeks before my cat that I have had for over 10 years passed away. So i was a total basket case when I found my baby in his cage. I just now got my senses back to get on here and let everyone know.

Oh Michelle, I'm so sorry What a horrible thing to come home to ... been there, done that .... it is an awful feeling! I hope your heart begins to heal from the double hit you took losing both your long term kitteh and then Harley within a month of each other.

I am so sorry. Do you mind if I ask, did you have a necropcy done? Do you have any idea what happened? I know the pain you are going through. I lost my baby Gurk almost 9 months ago, on March 16th. I unfortunately did not get a necropsy done on him. I wish I would have but when I saw him i flipped out and my husbands first reactions was to get him out of the house so I would calm down so he went and got a little wooden box and buried him. The poor guy had been through alot his plucking had gotten so bad that he was making himself bleed so I am thinking thats what happened to him. I have missed all of you guys. You all are great and thanks for all your prayers.

One of my good friends gave me two quakers that were not tame at all and I had a really difficult time getting to even hold them which irritated me because I wanted to love on them like I always did harley everyday. They were bonded to each other and would have no part of it. So, unfortunately I had to have her come get them I think it was just to soon for me to have another bird. But I am searching for another quaker that I can love and spoil mas much as I did Harley.
