Some of you may remember Apples the little Quaker baby with the broken wing in Chicago?
Well although the vet was a bit off on his age, he CAN fly and has grown into the most wonderful Quaker you could ever meet. His name was changed to Rex and he now has a Girlfriend!! Meet Banana!

I don't remember the original story, must have been before my time here. They are both gorgeous. Banana is awesome! I've never seen a yellow one in real life. Just curious...how much do the yellows sell for? Lucky Rex, he has one beautiful girlfriend!!

OMG!!!!!!! Those are the most beautiful shots I have EVER seen of Quakers. Did you shoot them?

Why thank you !
Yellows normally would go for anywhere between $3000 and $4000 but I don't know of too many that are actually for sale. There are only a few of them in the world. Most of them are VERY closely related but BB is extra special as she is not the result of inbreeding. Plus she is also split to Blue. So someday if she and Rex divorce perhaps I can get her a more suitable mate and they can have little Dark eyed white babies!

Yes I shot the photos And the one where they are both looking at each other....I can even say WOW ...THAT is what love looks like! I was going to sell BB until I saw these pictures then I realized "What would happen to Rex if BB was gone?"

Beautiful shots, and I'm so glad Rex is well and doing fine. Banana is lovely, indeed. What a sweet little face she has. wub.gif
