Dear QP Forum Friends,

Today we made some significant but necessary forum changes. This announcement will explain what was changed and why.

First, the Games section has been closed. Over the last eight months, the games section has resulted in more complaints and reported posts than any other. While most of our members have used this section as it was intended to be used, some have not. As a result, it has become a time-consuming liability and therefore is being discontinued.

Second, the chat room has been closed. This is another area of the forum that we routinely receive complaints about, and it appears to be another area that is being used inappropriately. If we can find a workable solution to the problems in chat, we may bring it back at a later date but as of now there is no date in mind for when this might happen.

And last, look for some posts from the admin team beginning next week that address some of the issues we've been having on this forum. We'll be sharing our vision for the QP forum, what we expect from members and why, and how we plan to handle issues that come up going forward. I think it's important that we all get back on the same page as far as the forum goes, so that we can all work together to return this forum to being the friendliest on the Net.
