Is there a link or place on the webpage that has an active threads link to click on?

That way people can jump into a discussion instead of scrolling through the different forum titles.

I just use the "view new posts" button that is up there with "my controls".

I think you are talking about "view new posts" It is right under your log in name and where it says "my albums, my controls"

I like to click on "my assistant" then I click on "new posts". I find it's just an easier way to keep track of the new messages.
