Last Monday I took in three orphaned baby mice to try and foster. They were three days old when I got them. I took them in full knowing that they probably wouldn't make it, but I always have a weakness for babies. I lost one the following morning, and finally lost the other two yesterday. Even though I had them for a few days, those days were so awesome. It really opened my eyes to how precious life really is. Here were my babies:

How cute I am sorry they didn't make it I rescued baby mice one time..3 of them...from a grill that their mother build a nest in and my neighbor started the grill (which killed the mother) but the nest fell out the bottom. 2 of them lived a week and one was burned bad and ended up dieing. One made it until it was old enough to allow it to go free. There was no way to keep it..he was very wild and not tame at all. But, bottle feeding them was so neat and I was in high school...my teachers even let me bring them to school so I could feed them.

I'm so sorry your babies didn't make it. I hate to see life lost. It's so sad.
