Hello, I need to find a loving home for my quaker parrot, I thought this would be a good place to find one. Is anyone interested?

Where are you located and why are you rehoming? Also I would post in the rehoming section. Good luck.

I live in Silver Spring, MD. It looks like we live about an hour and 40 minutes away from each other. If you are still interested, can you tell me about your bird experience/other birds you've had/have?

You need to give a little background info on the bird and the rehoming fee? It looks like there are several interested but wanting more info.

Yes, it always helps to let people know more about the bird. How old they are; if there are behavioral problems, health problems etc. And if there is a rehoming fee, what comes with the bird etc . Sounds like you have a lot of inquiring minds so hopefully you won't havve a problem finding him a good home.
Good Luck.

My quaker found a great home with two carring people and another quaker parrot. I think he will really enjoy his new home.

Clarence is with me now. I was very excited to adopt him. He is still a little nervous and I'm sure he will be for a few days. I moved him into a larger cage with his toys and lots of new ones. He had started to pluck a little, so the awesome bird store near me helped me pick out a lot of toys recommended for pluckers. I also ordered some avicalm and featheriffic for him. He has been pretty quiet, but he did say hello to me earlier.
Here he is checking out one of his new toys.

Thanks for taking Clarence in. He's a precious boy, and needs someone who can spend some time with him. {At least that is what I was told by Emily.} I hope everything works out for ya'll.

As the bird has found a forever home, I'll close the thread.
