It's definitely springtime, and Puppy is really stretching her wings lately. (We're in a small apt. in a highrise, so no danger of her getting loose.) We had a few stems of flowers over the weekend, and she decided to try to fly over and stand on them. It took her at least a few dozen helicoptering passes, but she never knocked them over, and she finally was able to land on them. She had a nice solid perch and hung out for a little bit acting like she was queen of all she surveyed.

Of course, she then started looking like she was tempted to start chomping on the flowers, and lilies are toxic for birdies, so we had to pluck her off of her pretty little perch - but she got the chance to feel triumphant, and we got a great picture.

Great Pic!! She looks like she was enjoying the view! you might have to get her a window perch over there. LOL.

Just came across this post, and have to say that is such a beautiful and striking photograph!!

That view is absolutely beautiful. I can see why Puppy was so determined to sit on those Lillie's at look out for a bit. Great photo shot. And great pose, Puppy!
