Bruno is doing great. Although like Rocky he has decided he loves daddy instead of mom. *sigh* oh well.... He still tends to pluck a little on his chest. Just a small amount then he lets it grow back again then gone again. He and Rocky (CAG) talk back and forth... I hear "hi Bruno" then "hi Rocky" LOL Then Rocky tells him to hush and Bruno says "shhhhhhhh" Then they both laugh. He has learned "good crackers" from Rocky whenever I am cooking or sitting down to eat which means "me first mom!" he crys when Mark leaves for work or goes out the door hubby says they both do it when I leave to which made me feel a little better. He is learning the "Bad Bird, bad bird" song to the tune of COPS. Only he gets stuck on "bad, bad, bird, bird, bad bird, bad what do do!" LOL but he is getting there and carries a pretty good tune. He's learned a few more like "going bye bye" (hubby says as he's leaving for work), "gimme kiss" and gives kisses then says "thank" (hasn't got the "you" yet) and a few other words. Him and Rocky entertain each other during the day alot and I think Rocky would love to be friendlier, however when he flys to Bruno's cage Bruno lets him know its a long distant relationship and he's not allowed to be on his cage. Well I don't know which Julie this is intended for, but I'm answering too and since there are three of us.......and what a sweet baby...spoiled for sure---keep it up.... and Bruno looks so healthy and good....

And I about fell out of my chair when I read what Weeza wrote because I was going to tell you the same thing about the sofas... I was getting ready to tell you yours looks like mine..maybe we each better make a close up shot and compare.... Oh goodness...still laughing...

Oh gosh! Too funny! Actually my mom bought the couch brand new right before she passed. My brother brought her couch and her favorite recliner to me all the way from MI after we got back to NC. It's pretty beat up and about 8 years old now but I can't bear to get rid of it.

Julie is JuliesJungle. Paula's grey and Bruno both came from Julie. I had high hopes when he came that he would interact with me since Rocky wouldn't. However, Bruno seems to copy everything Rocky does and after seeing me getting lunged at and bit by Rocky and flinching around him he now does the same thing. Although he will take food out of my fingers and will talk to me and sing with me but that's about it. But as soon as hubby walks in the door he's a whistling and hollering hello. LOL But its okay I still get a lot of fun and entertainment out of both of them during the day when I am home alone.

Vonnie--I believe Rocky is going to be a great influence on Bruno....what I hear sure sounds uplifting...your stories of Bruno and Rocky shall continue... I'm sure.... Thanks

Oh my gosh Von he looks so happy and hubby to. Thanks for the update I had sent ya email but never heard back so thought you was busy busy busy. I know I did the right thing with Bruno and Lili. They could not not be in a better place even though I miss them very much. Thanks for loving him and give him some kisses from me.

He definitely loves the hubby. LOL I will have hubby give him kisses for you, Bruno wouldn't like getting kisses from he. He has sat and watched Rocky lunging and biting me and now copies him where I am concerned.

I'm sorry I must of missed the e-mail. I was down for about a week when my back went out and then the snowstorm and loss of power, have spent the last couple days trying to get some housework done I wasn't able to do because of my back. Plus 9 parrotlet babies and 3 tiel babies have been keeping me busy.

After being on her for almost 2 years now, I know Julie loves her babies, and I know it was hard for her to give them up, but Von you and your hubby sure are taking extra good care of Bruno. Julie did the right thing in trusting you with her boy. He is absolutely beautiful! I just wanted to pop in and tell you how handsome of a FID he is. Keep up the good work, which I know you will do! Thanks, Von, for being an earth angel to our flying companions!!

Awwww......thank you.... I am honored Julie felt she could trust him to me. And I get a lot of joy and entertainment out of him. I love to watch him on his swing when he gets going side to side. We say "go Bruno, go Bruno, go Bruno" and he laughs and swings harder.

I just rescued a TAG last weekend that is hand shy, but I can tell he wants to be loved (especially by women). But, he doesn't want hands near him or he bites. Believe me he bites!!! But, I love him so much already. I know what you mean. You don't actually have to have physical interaction with them to adore them. And you are doing a great job with Bruno! Hopefully, once Smokey gets a new cage, we can get him the toys he requires and the playing and foraging can commence like he is suppose to do. Like all Grey's are suppose to do!
