Monday morning the sweetest bird I ever owned passed away at 1:30 in the morning while I was in bed holding him. He started off realy sleepy in the afternoon so I figured something was wrong. The vet did blood tests and everything looked good. She did state there was a mass in his chest. The way he was I knew he didnt have long. I held him until he passed on. He was only 2 years old and too young to go. In the three months we had him we grew to love him dearly. Every morning I would come home from work he would holler till I picked him up then he would crawel into my shirt and make the cutest little beep sound. My wife is so upset she said she even thought she heard him beep today after he was gone. I myself am mad and sad at the same time. I miss you and love you beep!!!! P.S. I got the results back today.... I knew you were a boy

Oh man I am so sorry. My deepest condolences go out to you. Beep was so young. Was it cancer do they know? You've had a rough time of it with your Teil Elli and now Beep. It always breaks my heart when I read that someones dear feathered companion has passed on- no matter the age. ~Hugs to you and your wife!~

Thank you all for the words of kindness, they mean a lot to us... One time a few years ago I asked the quistion why is it that good people die and bad people live. Some boy about 16 said right away its because God wants them with them. Makes sense I guess...

I already posted on this thread, but I just wanted to tell you that every night when I put my little sun to bed I think of you and Beep because he makes those cute little beeping conure noises and I sometimes call him my little beeper. I hope you are starting to heal a bit.
