Saturday I adopted an 8 month old baby. He is not tame. He does talk a little. He has started eating and drinking and she is sitting on her new perch. When I got him he was in a very small cage with only one toy. He now has a bigger cage and more toys. I"M hoping he will calm down soon. Click to view attachment

Aww what an adorable picture. Your qp is beautiful.

You're going to need lots of patience if he isn't tame, but keep working on him and I'll bet he'll come around.

Thanks to all of you. He is doing better. I leave his cage door open but he never even try's to come out. We are just giving him time.

Charlie came out last night and we sat on the floor with him. We are seeing him getting braver. Go Charlie

Today I was able to hold him. He was nervous but did not bite me. He was chashing one of my dogs around it was so funny.
