my bearded dragon, I'm pretty sure he's an Eastern, named Titch, is so tiny.
he's at least 3 months old and only 10.1cm in length from nose to tail, about 4 inches.
my friend has a bearded dragon too, his is 4 months old and already 7 inches. Does anyone know why he could be so small?
I've been wondering if he is perhaps a Pygmy bearded dragon (P. henrylawsoni) they grow to about 18cm as an adult.
Or he may just be a runt.
If anyone knows how I could distinguish which species he is, or why he might be so small, I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks

Hi
My son and i also breed reptiles. I have found over the years that our dragons grow at completely different rates. Not sure how much research you have done but there is a lot of food that you could be giving her that some people don't think of. Mine get bok choy and squash everyday. i only feed crickets once a week. The most important thing of all is UVB lighting. It is completely separate from a heat lamp and uva. Many people don't use these and the dragons get stunted and also get mbd. Good luck, keep us updated.
My 2 prize dragons, lex and fern are 680 grams each...when someone sees them their mouths drop open..they are huge

Titch ended up passing away, on the 20th of May this year.
