Annie has become very cage territorial and with the grandbabies running around here I have decided to rehome her before she gets a hold of one of my babies. I will only let her go to someone with quaker experience and there is a rehoming fee.

How old is Annie? Where do you live? How much is the rehoming fee? Does she come with a cage? I wish you the best of luck.....

hi, i live down in branson mo, i already have a large cage and 1 quaker, so i wouldnt need a cage, what would the adopt fee be without a cage, and where in mid mo are you.

Hi, sorry didn't catch your name. I hope you won't mind my making a suggestion here. I would suggest at least initially you have each Quaker in a separate cage. First, for quarantining and second, just in case they don't get along. Each bird just like us humans have their own personality and likes and dislikes. So they may or may not like each other. Hope when you get another Quaker, both birds like each other but please give them time to decide if they want to play house together. lol

Yes, thats what i do, and everyday i take them to a neutral play area. That way there are interacting with eachother instead of protecting their turf. btw names Corey.

Hi, Corey! Nice to meet you! Thanks for the clarification. I hope I didn't offend you. Sometimes people, especially those new to birds, think that just because you have two of the same kind of bird you can simply put them in the same cage and everything will be fine. Hope you and your present Quaker find another Quaker buddy! They can be very addictive! lol

Just thought i would let you know that i cant adopt the quaker after all. I ended up adopting a green cheek conure, she was free and had a cage too. YEY! I do hope you find a good home for her though, your rehoming fee is very fair, and she is a very pretty quaker.

Are you still looking for a home for Annie? My partner and I are looking for a QP or two. Shoot me an e-mail if so, najak82@hotmail.com. Thanks!
