Hi Everyone,
The following is to provide QuakerParrots.com members with an update about our Admin Team and where we are going from here ..
As you have probably noticed, QuakerParrots.com continues to grow ... With that growth there is a need to provide guidance and assistance to a larger membership. In order to provide our members with that guidance we have added to our admin team and changed our processes.
Additions to Admin Team
I would like you to help me welcome Andie's Mom (Connie), Carrie~Anne and Sandi Kiwi's Mom (Sandi) as new Section Managers on the Quaker Parrot Forum.
Connie, Carrie and Sandi join Dave (DMMoulton) and Majj as Section Managers and Dee and I as Forum Managers.
The goal of our Section Manager is to help the members by answering questions whenever possible and to help keep the forum running smoothly and in a positive direction.
Your current QuakerParrots.com Admin Team
Founder/Forum Manager -- Shelly
Forum Manager -- Dee
Section Managers -- Dave (DMMoulton), Andie (Andie Wan Kenobi), Majj, Connie (Andie's Mom), Carrie~Anne and Sandi (Sandi Kiwi's Mom)
Changes to Process
Currently Shelly and I moderate all forums with the Forum Assistants keeping a watchful eye and bringing tasks to our attention.
Effective this weekend (as access changes), our Section Managers will now oversee their specific sections on the forum and will have the functionality to moderate within these forums. As always, Shelly and I will have the functionality to moderate in all forums. The Section Manager that is assigned to a specific forum will be identified by the statement "Forum led by ... " under each forum title.
Future
As we would like to have all forums covered we will be putting a call out in the next few months for members to apply for Section Manager positions. There will be some screening involved that relates to length of time and activity on the forum so watch for that post ...
We are hoping that the additions, process changes and future additions will continue to make QuakerParrots.com the best quaker place on the web!
Thanks
Dee and Shelly
