Its an old wrought iron cage..we used it as a play place for dodger for awhile..too many points and places he could get stuck for a regular cage. It came to a point at the top and had lots of scroll work on it. It was a pretty cage..very neat looking.But Dodger wound up with a bruised beak from climbing from the top point to the bars below it, he would land on his beak We were gonna powder coat it and use it outside, we also thought of putting Shelby in it but while its tall enough (6ft) it just wasn't wide enough.A friend of mine needed a ferret cage...so it now houses 2 ferrets.It works great for them..lots of climbing places and levels (they added platforms every few feet. I think it works better for the ferrets then as a bbird cage.

Thanks for the pic. Thats a big cage. Yeah, they didnt used to know much about cages. Its a good think we are learning more and more all the time about what is safe. I find those old cage interesting to look at.

lol I just noticed he was actually IN the pic He would climb from the sisal boing to the cage top and land on his beak..never hurt himself, but after awhile we noticed a bruise on his beak..bye bye birdie playground..hello new playstand.
I wish you could see the scroll detail in the top..but the java gym hides it.It was a neat looking cage..but really just not functional.But I actually think he liked it more then the playstand he has now.
