So Angie got me thinking that I hadn't posted photos of my birds in quite sometime. Alas, no new photos, so these are repeats for some members:

Max, my little plucked girl. She tends to pluck around her crop area...

Chi Chi and Lo Lee. These two were brooder mates and then came to me a month apart. Lo Lee was a failure to thrive chick and took about a month longer to wean then Chi Chi did. The breeder thought she may have medical problems down the line, but so far she hasn't!! She's been one healthy Conure...

And Tiko...My little Grey man...or Flappy Chicken as UZ loves to call him...

Once I get a new camera (the old one sucks!!), I'll be sure to take some updated photos smile.gif

Thanks for posting them Carrie!! I don't think I've ever seen them all at once.

It's hard for an old man to keep up when I only see them one at a time. tongue.gif

Wow they are so cute especially Max!! She just looks like she might get into something!
What does brooder mates mean, that they were incubated at the same time but from different
parents? just curious thanks and by the way Carrie Anne i was wondering what type of birds you use to breed?
thanks for sharing pics livelovelaugh always Tinene

Hi Tenene!!

Yes, brooder mates means that they shared the incubator and being handfed. They are two different species of birds, so they did come from different parents. Although these two were hatched out at the same time. smile.gif I think that's one of the main reasons they get along so well, is because they were raised together, right from the start. They only have been apart for about a month, and that was because Lo Lee took a bit longer to wean then Chi Chi did.

I used to breed Cockatiels and Lineolated Parakeets. But that was before I got sick. sad.gif No more breeding for me.
