can anyone tell what kind of bird eggs they are? They're about the size of a marble and have little red spots all over them
Katie28
I know chickadees lay marble size eggs with little brown and red spots. Maybe that is what laid the eggs.

Maybe a wren. They like to get into places like that.

Yes, I was going to say Wren also. The North Carolina Wren male makes 5 nests, then the female chooses which one she wants. I have had some here for about 10 years and the build in the wreath on the front door, the hanging pots on the front porch, even built a nest down on a low shelf, inside a sack of nails in the barn and one under the lawn mower seat. Looks like a wren's nest to me.

Wouldn't it be nice if hubbies built 5 houses for us and we got to choose one.LOL!
