Where in Indiana are you?
Are you looking for a hand raised tame bird? Would you be willing to work with a plucker/screamer/other issue?
I have one quaker, Chester, that was always supposed to be a temporary rehome until I got him rehabbed... but I never really found the right home for him. He's a plucker, and the feathers will never grow back, but he doesn't pluck anymore. He's loud, but a real lover. He loves to be sung to and will lean into you for kisses. He talks a bit, particularly saying "peek-a-boo."
I'm not convinced I want to rehome him, but with all my birds and all the attention he needs, I can't help but wonder if he wouldn't be happier with someone who could devote more time to him.
He tolerates my other quakers, and they can be on me together, but they aren't friends.
If you're interested, I would ask a low adoption few, and would need to meet with you or call you to make sure you're a good fit. I have his most recent vet records and he's completely healthy. He's on zupreme pellets and likes many other treats. He would come with his cage and toys.

His cage:

It's not the best cage, but it's big and cage and he's comfortable in it.
I'm located in Mishwaka, IN... way up North. If you're interested at all, feel free to PM me.
