This is Chi! A blue-black Arabian stud! Isn't he stunning??!



At the end of next month he will be put over a blue-black filly



And then the both of them will be sold as a package pair - and Nightingale SHOULD be pregnant!


Oh how I wish I could afford him/them ... they will be a great starter pair for someone who wants to raise black Arabians. Chi and Nightingale are both sooooo beautiful!

Thanks for sharing those pictures. The blacks are no longer as rare in Arabs as they once were, but the BLUE BLACK is rare in all breeds. I've had several blue black mares and one blue black stallion over our 45 of breedingI love the fact that they don't sunburn and turn brown.

Awww yea ya right Jo about the sun burning! We used to put our stallion(s) out at night for that very reason of sunburning, and the flies too...that way they would STILL have a tail! (day time too much swishing=less and less of a tail. Long tail=beautiful horse! LOL)

Very nice horse. I had a black thoroughbred/morgan mare but when she was out in the sun she'd get a deep chestnut dapple to her, The blue blacks are awesome.

Arabs are too smart for their own good...lol...
