I don't post ofen but I do read board frequently, which is why I have decided to come here to try and find a new home for Jasper. SHE is a lutino cocatiel almost 3 years old that can't stop laying eggs. She is my husbands bird, and he has stage 4 reinal cell cancer. She won't have anything to do with me, and he can't care for her anymore. She is hand tame, and loves to have her crest and nose rubbed. Her wings have been cut but she is still able to fly a little. She will step up. She is a pretty bird, and her cage will go with her. We live in Morton Il. witch is just the other side of the river to Peoria Il. I really need to find her a new home soon. I haven't heard from anyone wanting to be Jaspers new mommy or daddy. Can anyone suggest another place to post? I know that there is always pet finder, but I am reluctant to go there because of the Nuts that watch that site. Any suggestions? Kathy

We would be willing to met you half way. We use to live in Zion so I know just how long the drive is. We haven't been back up there in about 5 years. Yea...and that doesnt even include the Tiels.

I have a huge cage that has a couple of Tiel girls in it...she can come hang out with them and be a happy camper. (as long as hubby says it's ok) Is she flighted because they all are and come out for a few hours a day to fly around.

She can fly, just not very well because she has clipped wings, I just did,t do a very good job of it.She does not get a lot of altitude. K

I haven't heard from rodeo. I know she probably has her hands full with the kitten, has anyone else heard from her? I Need to make a decision soon. My husband is going to restart cemo next week.
