i have put that photo as a background on my pc and everytime i see it it brings a smile, and yes the wait is torture.
the kids have come up with a few names, but im going to make a list and see which one it likes when i get it.
names so far are:

bluebell (shortened to blue if its a boy)
sky
bubbles (or bubs if its a boy)
sweetpea

I am sooooo jealous!

so adorable. I love the name bluebell, very sweet.

he is just over 1 week old, was hatched last thursday. my breeder was going to leave them with the parents for another week but had to pull them early as 1 had died. so i have to wait a few more weeks to get it.

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record because I say this every time I see one, but here goes. I can't even imagine anyone seeing a baby birdy picture without a big smile smearing across their face.
I put on a huge smile evey time I see one and even when they are grown, the pictures always make me smile. The smiles are just HUGE when it's a baby!

yep---a beauty indeed----and I wonder if birdies itch while those feathers are trying to come in...they look kinda miserable to me....boy I sure wish I could help them get the feather open, that is if they were ready....
Oh--I'm just rattling off to myself...sorry---but I have always wondered if it bothers the young birdies when feathers are coming in..........

yeah i have always thought the same, i know Chester loves a good scratch when he has feathers coming lol

here is a new pic that was taken today of my new baby, it has only just been sent to me and the first place i go is here lol. still havent decided on a name but i think im going to leave it until we finally meet. my breeder thought it was going to be a darker colour blue at first but now it has more feathers he thinks its going to be a paler blue, and going by the pic on here at the top of the page i think i agree with him. what do you guys think?

thanks all, i have fallen in love even though we havent met yet and wont until he/she is fully weaned as we live at different ends of U.K. but as i got chester from same breeder i know how perfect he/he will be. we keep in touch with the breeder every week to find out how its going and he sends photos once a week, so i will be updating on the pics. when my husband phoned the breeder on tuesday he said that he/she adores being cuddled and is so affectionate its unbelievable, so i cant wait to get him/her home

Mommy Quakey and Tiki say Oh what an angle what a real little sweetheart indeed oh how cute he is he's adorable many many years with him o.k. he's a little love bug that's for sure oh he's so dam CUTE I remember when my 2 little ones were at that age now Quakey is 3 years he was 2 1/2 weeks when I got him and Tiki is now 2 1/2 years they grow so fast but it's so great to raise them and see them get what we call "All The Big" Tiki won't let call him baby Tiki I have to call him Big Tiki cause he's 2 but Quakey doesn't mind me calling her Baby Quakes again CONGRADULATIONS on your new bundle of joy he's so cute and adorable andto have many many enjoyable years with that little special angle o.k.
