Very nice. I am sure it is lots of fun filming the little ones so I have ordered a new Canon 1200 (I didn't get any advice from the experts). I hope it does the job and that I can do as well as you. The pictures and videos really add a great deal to the site.

Actually a group of teachers on the internet who just love the Harry Potter books gave me the idea. They said (jokingly) that if I were truly a HP fan, I would name my pet after one of the characters. Dobby is the emotional elf that helps Harry in book two.

Alot of people are out enjoying the weather this time of year and don't come on as much.......

that's very amusing if I think about our weather. they must not be in Houston. we are experiencing a really bad drought, (fires and all)the clouds hang low and the pollution is thick in the air. Even the poor little birds and squirrels outside are coughing. We have officially hit the three digits. The humidity from clouds hanging but not raining.

that's why I'm posting.

I've adapted to this weather so these are the months I stay in and work more. Dobby is getting sick of me. He keeps looking at me and saying, "bye bye???"

Dobby has such a cute birdy voice and it's soooo clear!

I wish I could capture the combos he does. He'll start out with just sweet bird...then he'll go sweet sweet bird then he'll start with the long sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet bird. They look so funny with thier mouths open and talking.

Wow Dobby is so good on camera. When I have the camera out the girls just sit there like two lumps on a log. I am lucky if I capture anything super cute

He sees me holding that wierd silver box and begging for him to speak and I guess he shows mercy. Although, I must admit sometimes he really goes out of his way to try to please me. Other times...

He is so adorable, I love his little voice I can't get Quincy to talk on camera for me at all.

I remember 20 years ago, my photography teacher said the best way to get candid shots was to carry a camera around with you all the time and take shots. Then your subject gets used to the camera being there.

I hope this helps. It took a long time to capture Dobby's speech but he seems to be getting used to it.
