How neat I held your baby when I went to pick up mine

He was the only blue she had and he was in with all the greens, what a small world. Have fun and tell Sue I said hi and that Ollie is doing great!

You're kidding!! Haha. That's great!
Congrats on your new baby as well, then!
My green quaker, who passed away in old age this past winter was named Oliver.
Tomorrow morning I'll see my Kokoro at last.

I think everyone would agree with me that we demand pictures of Kokoro is his new home!

Kokoro is home now- I will try to take some photos tomorrow. He had a nervous first day, but today was better. He's eating well and begged to come out of his cage twice today. His cage is so huge- and he's used to sharing a smaller one with his many nest-mates (he still had 2 left when I picked him up), it took him a while to figure out that all the cage and everything in it belongs to him... and that the people here belong to him, too! We had some quality bonding time. He is very friendly and cuddly. He's even more beautiful than the photos give him credit for. He has intense eyes and a wonderful scent! I think we'll be very good friends. I aim to give him a long, happy life here.

Sorry for the delay! I have been under the weather- I have a connective tissue disease and I've had a major flare up so my joints are super swollen- my fids are wonderful company, though!
I do have lots of Kokoro photos, and just as soon as I track down the cable to connect my phone to the computer... I can post them!!
I also wanted to add that my mother bought Kokoro's green brother! His buyer backed out at the last minute and they had given up on selling him and were going to hold him back as a breeder bird. We're happy to be keeping them in the family.
Koko is doing great. He already says his name- "Koko" and today he stepped-up from his cage for the first time. He is very sweet, cuddly and gentle and just loves attention. He is on my shoulder preening away at my ear right this moment. I love him so much! He is perfect.
