Can anyone give me their ideas for a outdoor avairy? How big, what type of fencing or screening? Pics would also be appreciated.

There are several good sites if you google building an out door aviary. I didn't ever save them or I'd list them.
It really depends on how much room you have and how many birds you want to have out there. The most important thing in my opinion is to make sure its build so that predators can't get in. You'll need to decide how much you can afford to spend etc....and how and who is going to be in charge of cleaning it etc.
It also depends on whether you're going to offer them protection from the elements and how big that will be etc.
I would use a 1 x 2 inch or a wire mesh of a fairly heavy guage, depending on what type of birds you plan on having out there...quaker or larger 1 x 2 is fine smaller 1/2 x 1 would be better or 1/2 x 1/2 Keep in mind also that if you use galvonized material it needs to be treated and there are several methods fo doing that to keep it safe for your birds.
