Last wednesday nite over nite-early morning hours I'm gathering aroound 4:30a.m.-5:30am or so I always check on my little guys all threw out the night and I checked on him a short time before and she was fine and all then I wake up a little later on thursday moring 7/29/09 only to find out that Quakey had passed-on and I'm devastated as can be now W H Y ???????? I don't understand it at all she was fine and healthy as a rock I always keep my birdies always HAPPY HEALTHY AND SAFE AT ALL TIMES EVERYDAY I just don't understand it at all I'm soooooooo devastated beyond believe now W H Y???? and I lost Shamrock the same way 4/10/09 I don't understand this I've never ever lost any of my birds like this ever and I've had birds for many many years all my life now I have only TIKI left and I'm worry sick about him now he's all healthy and all and seems to be all o.k. and all but I still worry about losing him now oh please NO the loss of Shamrock 4/10/09 1 year and the loss of Quakey 3 1/2 years now I can't take the loss like that the same way all of a sudden like this it's way to devastating I have an amazon parrot all so named Tequila that I love very very much also I just don't understand it could it be in the genes possibly I've been told that is a possibly I just don't know I've heard others losing their parrots sometimes the same way it's just to devastating for me I'm for sure going to replace Quakey 1st and then try and replace Shamrock as soon as possble now for my sake as well as Tiki he needs to have another play mate I'm 1st trying to adopt one as soon as possble what are some good ways to go about that any suggestions other than Pet Recue and Graigs list and all like that please let me know on that o.k. I just can't believe it at all it's just such and unexpected extreme sad loss hope to get some confort here I could surely use it at a time like this I could use all your repsonses.

Any one who's lost a little angle suddenly would know what I'm feeling please repsond I could use some condeolences I'm devastated over the sudden lost of our beloved Quakey 3 1/2 years she just up and passed-on just like that Shamrock to back in april I just don't understand it at all I've always have birds all my life and never lost any like this never I don'r understand it at all the guild I feel now I'm soooooo devastated I have my amazon Tequila and I have Tiki which is a real life saver and all but still WHY??? that's all hope to hear from you all sorry to tell you bad news like that o.k. I am so, so sorry to hear about Quakey. What an awful shock. It must be terribly hard to accept something that happens out of the blue like that. Hugs.

Carol, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss of little Quakey!

You certainly don't have any reason to feel guilty. I know you love those babies and do everything in your power to keep them happy, safe and healthy.

I am so sorry for your loss...my thoughts are with in you in this very hard time. I know there are no words to take away the pain...but know, we all care and are here for you.

The question "why?" I suppose we all ask at times like this....and I think, at times, there are just no answers for us. I am so sorry.

I'm so, so sorry for what you are going through. Please consider taking your fids in for a health check-up soon. It might help ease your worries a bit going forward. It's also important for any parront who unexpectedly loses a bird to have a necropsy done to identify possible problems that can be corrected for the safety of other fids.

I read the Im memory thing and it brought tears to my eyes that I had to copy it down in memory of my loss ones and I read it now everyday out loud to myself and Tequalia and Tikibird and my little dog to and you can tell how they know and understand to read that everyday is a confort to me now to as well because it's all sooooo true the words I mean thanks for being there and say HELLO to your little angles for me from Tequila and Tiki and doggie Elvis o.k.

Yes she's with the angles now and shamrock it showing her the way and I tell Tequila and Tiki and doggie Elvis that Shamrock and Quakey are in heaven with your Grandma now and she loves them and will all be together some day again o.k. I tell'em that Grandma wanted another quaker and now has Quakey and she went to live in heaven with her These little gifts from GOD are so wonderful that when you lose one like this here it's devastating there's no words to descibe it if you know what I mean and HELLO to you all and thanks for being there for me o.k.
