Griffin is a picky little Quakey butt. He will ONLY chew things he can immediately rip apart (a.k.a paper) anything else he can't be bothered with. I have some adding machine rolls and he loves those. Any other paper themed ideas for my spoiled picky butt?

They make this stuff called Shredders that I buy at the pet store.

I have a roll of receipt paper on Oliver's cage (I think that might be the same as adding paper?)that he loves to tear up. I also have paper towel rolls that I cut into 3 inch sections and hang them here and there, I fringe the ends first to help get him going at tearing them up. I sometimes even give him old magazines, he loves those. Good luck, I am sure more ideas will come along.

Zoe likes lollipop sticks. You can buy them at craft stores, then paint on sugar free kool-aid to make them colorful. Or you could buy them online. I'll include some links. Hope this helps!

I tried shredders before and he couldnt take a straight bite out of it and so he turned up his beak at it. He will pick at it once in awhile but not much. I will definately look into those other options.

Mine don't like the Shredders, either, but I figured it was just their personalities. Benjy loves to destroy toys, but he won't touch Shredders. Maybe I'll try giving a bit to my little mouse. HE certainly likes to chew up things.

Have you tried a plain old coffee filter? That should be fun to tear up! biggrin.gif
