Hello My name is Kathy mother to 2 young boys and a new mommy to a rescued 4 year old quaker his name is Titus. Titus is a real ham. I have owned several types of birds in the past but never a quaker, he is something else. If you have any tips for me please feel free to tell me. I would appreciate any advice.

Hi Kathy, welcome to your new home away from home...and you'll soon be understanding that statement! Lots of great people here who are all wonderful about offering help and answering questions. Never be afraid to ask a question...there's no such thing as a dumb, silly or stupid question here.

Since this is your first quaker, might I suggest you purchase the book, "A Guide to Quaker Parrots" by Mattie Sue Athon. Its a great book filled with great info about Quakers. One I still find myself going back to now and then.
