Which would be the better cage for a quaker, the HQ flight cage 13221, or the HQ medium playtop 80024?
I can have either one ordered where I work but since I can't see them in person I can't decide which would be better.
I also plan on buying or making a tabletop play gym.
I have two cats and a large dog if this makes any difference.
Thanks.

Mine has the HQ playtop, and the top gets heavy use, even though we also have a couple of gyms. It's where the fids eat, bathe, and play.

Personally I like the play top cages. Just be sure that the bar spacing isn't too big. I prefer 5/8ths inch bar spacing but you can go as big as 3/4ths inch bar spacing for Quakers. Also, you may want to compare the various doors of the cage for "escapability!" I found most birds like to find all the escape routes from their cage and go off on explorations when you aren't watching! lol Little Houdini's with feathers!

Thanks for the advice, I am still looking into the best cage for price but I am leaning towards the playtop myself.
