I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place....

But-I ordered some new stuff for Baby & Squeek today, and noticed that I have a TON of old toys that they don't use. Some gently used and some not touched.

I was wondering if anyone could use them? Maybe someone that can't afford to get stuff for their birds, god knows this economy is taking a toll on everyone. Just wondering if anyone would be interested.

I'd rather have my money spent go to someones FID, rather than sitting in my birds closet not being used.

I'm not sure if there are rules as far as one bird using anothers toys, sanitary, etc?
My two birds are healthy as can be!

Let me know what you guys think, if this is a good idea or not, or if anyone would be interested in them. smile.gif

I would love to have some toys for my babys as if anyone is feeling the pinch its us lol. I have 5 quakers all rescues but one lol and I got my one weeks before getting a new rescue. Toys are so expensive. I have 15 that I rotate between the five ranging to mirroes and beads on leather. I used to have plenty but after adding two more Im a little short. I can always use more toys!

Wow--you sure have some nice toys there Jill....and glad you have found someone that would love to have them..

Sometimes my memory fails, but aren't you the one I got the jollyball from a couple years ago...I believe you are... ohmy.gif and Harley is enjoying every bit of it...he has started building in it, in other words putting his sticks in there, until he couldn't get anymore in there.... laugh.gif

Thanks! I only wish they'd play with half of them. But I figure it's better they go to someone that will use them!

Yes, that was me, I sold you the Jollyball! I'm glad Harley likes it, Harley must be making it his home away from home wink.gif that kind of big stuff scares the crap out of my birds, well, at least Squeek, Baby isn't scared of anything!

If you want/need any of those toys let me know!

With my 12 birds I definately could use some toys if you have more than enough for the first person that asked. I am always trying to make toys but they do not last long and with the economy we cannot afford to buy new ones all the time. So a couple of new ones would be nice. I know my fids would love you for them. As a matter of fact today I brought home some little cardboard pieces that I thought I could make a toy out of. laugh.gif They thought I was crazy at work!!!

Ditto---

Harley is fine with toys Jill, but thanks anyway.... smile.gif In fact he doesn't play with toys much; he would rather get a stick; a skewer or a wooden spoon and play with it... laugh.gif

We are bringing home a new baby Quaker in a couple of weeks so if you still have any of those toys that would be appropriate for a young, freshly weaned baby then we would really appreciate it. Thanks.
