A good friend of my son was killed in car accident on Labor Day. He was only 8 years old. He was such a sweet and funny boy, with an infectious smile.

I also lost my father a couple weeks ago to liver cancer. He was 62. From the day that he found out that he had cancer to the day that he passed, was only ten days. His only symptom prior to going to the ER with severe pain, was a stomach pain that was mild. He'd had this pain for only a week or so.

So, I ask that each of you give your loved ones and extra hug/kiss and tell them you love them. We never know what might happen.

What a tough time for you and your loved ones. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry Jen. At least your father did not have to suffer thru the pain that my cousin just went thru. He passed away on the 10th. He lost down to 80 pounds.
