Has anyone had a chance to try out the new flex walk cage perches, made by Happy Perch (www.happy-perch.com)? Any good or bad feedback?

I wonder if the plastic is hard enough to where the FIDs can't chew three them..
I mean elvis has chewed holes in ever one of my shirts so far. Glad it is my shirt and not my ear LOL

Thanks for the feedback!
I've never seen anything with the 'party' beads inside like these things. So far, no problem with chewing. I think the best thing I like about them, in addition to being colorful, they're so easy to clean. I was using the rope perches, but they're a pain to sanitize compared to these

I had never heard of these.......they look like they would be quite comfy for the feet. My only concern would be: my quaker is a chewer and he would figure out how to chew thru to the beads wink.gif

They look like the rope lights they have around christmas time only with beads in them instead of lights. Seems like they would be slick and hard to hold onto.

That's why I never got them too.

I bought a Happy Perch last week for my QP. I thought I could move the perch from kitchen to dining room to livingroom. The suction cups do not hold very well. I wish I would have just bought a wooden table~top stand. I did buy the largest one the store had. While the plastic has "give" to it, it is thick enough I don't think a QP would chew through it easily. I would need to measure the one I have, I don't know if it is a medium or a large, but it has green beads inside it. Would anyone be interested in trying it with there fid?

If those suction cups are bad, by chance, I'd email the web store to let them know. Before you do, here's how to test the cups. Clean and dry them with just water. Then stick it to a clean and dry MIRROR or WINDOW only. The suction cups should hold the perch for days - literally! If the perch falls within the first few hours, the cups are, most likely, bad. In such case, the place you bought them should gladly send you a new product. If the cups stick to the glass window or mirror, it's NOT the suction cups - it's the surface that is not meant for a suction cup. Remember, the key is make sure the cups are clean and to stick them on clean glass only. That's the only sure way to test if it's the suction cup is bad or the surface you'r mounting them to is inappropriate for suction cups.
