I don't know whether I am crazy or realy looking to have more than I can handle...
I'm adopting petey's mom's two quakers on Wednesday I go to pick them up then, I am so totaly excited about that, well today actually about 30 minutes ago, I was on craigslist and I was looking around and I found the prettiest little love bird i have ever seen, well I made three phone calls and guess what I have the bird, which I think she will make the perfect pet for my retired aunt, that was the main reason why i got her.. My aunt was wanting a bird, something small but didn't really want a budgie either, she has had lovebirds before in the past, so when I seen this one i thought now that would be perfect.. I just have to figure out how i am going to get "cricket" too her!
My husband was like when I told you that you could have the quakers that was it, after the two your picking up on Wed. thats it, now this one...well he isn't totaly mad at me, but ya know how a husband can be..
The woman I got her from called her a Lutino peach face love bird, I've never seen one this color..

I told the old man it was for my aunt, and he was like ok but how long do we have to keep it? I told him as soon as I can get it up too her she will be on her way LOL..
I called my aunt as soon as I seen the baby on craigslist. LOL she was like NO WAY... Go get her for me.. Well I can't say no to my Aunt she is my favorite Aunt...
Amen on the FID Addicted.. I want to bring all of them home but... I totaly agree with my husband when I pick the other two QP's up on Wednesday that is it I can't do no more....
And if it comes to it I will take lil cricket(lovebirds name) and she will have a home here with me forever LOL... I gotta start makeing phone calls to see if there is any one going towards my aunts LOL....

I'm in luv with Quakers too. We are all bird crazy on here.Pico likes wooden Popsicle sticks. I buy them at the dollar store . I have a dish on the inside and one on the outside full of them. He luvs to throw them on the floor and olay with them. He also likes the old fashined wooden clothe pegs. I put them in the bars and he pulls them out and throws them.

hey it works... what was so neat about it all is that when my husband came in and he was one of the three phone calls i made he looked at me real funny like and then i took the little love bird out and showed him this doofus looked at it and he says" ohhh arent you a cutie come here"
