I just wanted to post a hello to everyone! Im a new owner of a Quaker Parrot who is almost done weaning. I also have several other animals in my "zoo" to include:

Mini Dachshunds
Rescued Kittys
And a bunch of Sugar Gliders (mostly rescue)

I haven't thought of a good name yet, and my little Quaker friend needs to be sexed - he's got an appointment with my Exotic/Avian vet (lucky me my glider vet is a GREAT bird vet too!) to get his full work up and DNA sexing.

Hi evryone - I also am from Florida and recently got a new member of my family. My baby quaker "Tiki". He came to me from the breeder eating only a seed diet. I am trying to get him switched to pellet and am having an extremely difficult time. This is my first time having a bird so any and all help will be extremely appreciated.
