We're making great strides the last few days. After the birdies go to bed, I go play with Henry every night. By then, he's awake and has had his breakfast and is ready for some fun. Now he's stopped hiding if I move my hand and will crawl into it and let me hold him and will even let me stroke him, and tonight he sat on top of his little treehouse and looked right up at me and was almost close enough to kiss. He let me pick him up (instead of me just leaving my hand still on the bottom of his tank) and I even moved my hand around with him in it and he was okay with that.
He was up when I got home from work, which is unusual, so I talked to him a bit then, too, and Clyde flew in, so I showed him Henry (through the glass of the tank, I didn't open the top) and Clyde looked at him without freaking out. Clyde doesn't like mice, but maybe because Henry's black and white, he didn't associate him with the little gray wild mice. We weren't close enough to Clyde to get a good whiff of him, though. I didn't want Clyde to freak out and start squawking.

No sense in scaring Henry AND Clyde AND deafening me.
