i belong to another type of forum for books we have a trading section for where people trade books with others for books they would like to have they keep a wish list on thier profile actually it helps when people want to send presnts just because or hatchdays even fids like to get presents

We currently have a thread ongoing where members post things they have and no longer need ... The intent would be to give away or trade ...

Any thoughts on this being a forum within the cages/accessories forum versus the thread alone?

Keeping in mind that there would be no advertising or selling it would be simply to trade or give away to help another person/bird ... The transaction itself would be taken to PM and ..

Thoughts?

that was my thought anything in trade with the option to gift if wanted without trade the forum I belong to i realize has funds to cover the way it is run through a link to another website and intergraded but we could list what we have to trade and what we would like to have on the profile or a well organized section the threads although helpful do get lost
