Sorry no one has replied to your post. Weekends are sometimes not good days for much activity. Have you had him to the vet to rule out any physical probs.? luckliy I have never had to deal with that and hope I never do. Nothing seems to phase my qp. Maybe someone will be by soon to help.

I agree that a trip to the AVIAN vet is the first step to rule out any physical problems. When/if that has been eliminated, you can move on to behavioral issues.

Oh ! maybe he didn`t take the change of homes too well , but yes the others are correct get him vet checked first to rule out any medical reasons ..Poor little guy and Poor you it must hurt to see theses little guys doing this, fortunately I haven`t (not do I want to) had the experience and cant offer too much except I have read here from others to use aloe in their bathing water to relieve any itching ....
Good luck ..and hugs from me and the boys downunder...WELCOME to the group..
P.S. some times there is no one here to answer straight away especially over the weekend , do be patient I am sure you will get more advise soon...

It will definitely not work if your fid is plucking due to a medical problem.

You need to have him checked out by a vet first before you start to guess and use over the counter bought stuff...(hugs) poor little guy...
