Could he be scared of the new toy? Sometimes when a lot of new things are introduced too quickly they can be overwhelmed.
Also if you've only had him for 4 days he could still be getting settled in and adjusted to you and everything new. His whole world has just been turned upside down.
Is this a baby or adult Quaker? I would just back off and take things a little slower. Talk softly to him and offer him treats and give him time to trust you. Are you planning to take him to a vet for a well checkup?
As far as tired how many hours of sleep is he getting? Quakers need a good 10-12 hours of dark and quiet.
On a side note I would not take him outside without a harness or in a small cage. Even if his wings are clipped, if he caught a gust of wind they can still fly. You also have to worry about birds of prey. There have been instances of hawks grabbing pets with their owners right there. Just my opinion.
