For those of you who havs subscriptions or read Bird Talk, is it my imagination or what that in the last year or so ive noticed that Bird Talk is getting smaller and smaller with the info and stories that we like and it seems to me that we are paying for more ads.and less stories and articles. I have been a long time subscriber to BT since before it was by monthly but now like ive noticed and somewhat dissappointed in less info on breeds of birds and info on health and other stories. im thinking of ending my subscription because i dont want to just pay for ads. hmmmm..

I quit taking mine this spring when it ran out. I enjoyed getting it but it seemed like it was getting repetative and nothing too new. Just one more thing I could cut back on.

I stopped subscribing to BT. Don't know when my subscription is up but yeah I have seen a lot of changes in the magazine. I used to love reading the Flock On Stories and they are not there any more. I don't know I am also just stopped subscribing becuase I am still not working full time and need to save money too.

But yeah, it is not like it used to be:). I think it has a lot to do with the recession.

I only just discovered the magazine recently and I enjoy reading it. I don't have any past experience to compare it to, and I always like the beautiful center photos of birds and the focus on different types of birds. This month it was budgies and they had some awfully cute photos.

I loved it for the first year or so, but then quickly lost interest. Oh sure, the photos are gorgeous and some of the information is wonderful. But I was finding it very repetative. I highly recommend it for any one who is new to birds, but someone with more experience may find it runs its course rather quickly.

Now, I do still buy the occasional magazine, if a story catches my interest. Otherwise, no more subscriptions for me. smile.gif
