Hi everyone,
My quaker is a cheerio junkie. He just loves them. I would like to know how much can I give him to eat? He does also eat pellets, veg. and fruit.
Thanks,
Maryann

Mine loves them to but only if he can perch on the edge of MY bowl and steal them

I would say three or four a couple of times a week would be fine.

Are they the whole wheat ones or the sugar coated ones? The whole wheat ones are probably okay 2 or 3 a day. The sugar ones are probably not good for Quakers due to they can get Fatty Liver Desease.I know they luv the stuff that isn't good for them.

I have eaten cherrios as long as I can remember, but I have never seen WHEAT cherrios where I live. Here we only have the original OAT cherrios. Oats are not only great for people, but great for almost all animals as long as they are not the sugar coated or honey-nut kind.
