Today 'Happy' got his wings clipped, toe nails clipped and beak filed down a little bit and he is a completely different bird now! He's letting me pick him up and he's stepping up a little bit.

The bird groomer also helped me figure out what he likes
Happy LOVES under his beak scratched, his cheeks and the top of his beak.
He will also lay on his back in your hand and let you rub his belly.

I feel like I have a completely different bird!


Also, he got DNA tested today. Results should be back within a week on whether he is really a he, or a she!

How long have you had Happy???? What a great name! On the show "7th Heaven" the dog's name is Happy. Love it!

I have only had Happy maybe 4 days now. Yeah I think today is the 4th day.
Thank you to his name, I think it is only temporary though
Once I figure out if he is a boy or girl, I think I will change it - every time I say Happy referring to him he screams almost as if it's agonizing to hear! haha

Marla is always nicer when she has a spa day (me too!) If only I could get my hair done, nails done and a nose job for $6!
