It is coming up on halloween and was wondering what would be the safest thing to do to the pumpkin seeds to give my fid. Are pumpkin seeds even safe for birds.

Yes they are and a good source of calcium. You can simply dry them or roast them in the oven at a low temp for a bit

Mine love them. I always buy them unshelled. I guess with pumpkin season here, I'll be scooping them out and baking them.

Yes, they can be dried that way... NO Salt... Roast some for yourself...MMMM I love pumpkin seeds as much as my birdies do, maybe even more
