My best friend Rachel is getting married on Saturday, and she came over to try on some options for her rehearsal and rehearsal dinner dress (the rehearsal is tomorrow)......well, we found one that looks REALLY cute on her, but it's stained.

I don't know if they're grease stains or what, but how do I get them out???????

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pre-treating it with detergent, hoping that will help......I'm nervous!

Try Rubbing some Dawn dishing washing detergent on it. Dawn will help cut any grease.

Dawn works great for grease ... gentle on the fabric too ... squeeze the Dawn thru the material, don't scrub it in, see if that helps. Rub it thru with the fingers.

Try soaking it in some Oxyclean and then launder as you normally would.

Okay, instead of pre-treating with laundry detergent, I used our dish soap (not Dawn, but the bottle says "effective grease-cutting formula" so hopefully it will work...it's in the wash on Delicate now.....so we'll see..........*crossing fingers*

LOL Well, in another thread Deb said she was curious to see if the stains came out....so I'm posting again with the update.....YES!!

I put dish soap on the stains and then washed in regular laundry detergent, and it worked like a charm!!!

Of course, five minutes before she was supposed to be here, Rachel called and cancelled.....but I got the stains out and now I can wear the dress to her wedding! smile.gif
